Lock-down fun at the beach

 Lock-down fun at the beach

On Rahina/Monday my Family and I rode to the beach on our bikes. We played on the statue at the beach here are two pictures of me.

Then I went and saw what my dad was doing, he was just looking at some news about Monks (here is a link to it)

Afterwards I went and made a koru with my family it was fun, we made it out of some driftwood and shells. while I was walking I saw parts of a dead crab, some nice looking shells and then I spotted some feathers so I took them back to the koru, then I made a crab cemetery in the middle. Here are some photos
Have you been to the beach this lock-down.

Its Iziah here I really liked that you've used create tivitie and made a koru with shells, and sticks. What parts of the crab did you find and did you make a grave stone for them? I really like your blog and I hope you make another interesting one.

  2. Kia ora Kaiden, wow it looks like you had a blast at the beach. I really like your koru design. The article about the Monks was very interesting also.
No I haven't been to the beach this lockdown as it is a bit too far to walk there from my house.
Do you know what type of bird the feathers came from?

  3. Ahiahi marie Kaiden. I haven't been to the beach we are a little bit too far away so we are just going for walks in the forest. I love the beach art you did and liked how you included the link about the monks. Do you know what kind of crab the legs came from?

  5. Kia ora Kaiden,

Wow, your post blew my socks off. It was so interesting to read. I loved the inclusion of the photos and the link to the newspaper article your dad was reading.

It is really great to see you replying to comments too that appear on your own blog. I hope you go and comment on Iziah's blog since he wrote on yours.

We live a really long way from the beach so I haven't been able to go. We aren't even close to a river without a bit of a drive. Luckily we do have a park nearby. It's pretty great that you can get to the beach and do all those creative things with your family.

Keep up the great learning and blogging,
